Voraussetzungen The seminar will be held in English. We make sure to use simple language to enable all attendees to actively participate.
Lernorganisation The seminar will take place in presence, if this is not possible, it will be held as an online synchronous seminar with ZOOM.
Leistungsnachweis Prerequisite for receiving credits is continuous and active participation in the exercises and the discussions on all four days as well as the implementation of a method in practice including a written reflection (deadline September 10) on it.

Kommentar/Beschreibung

Two counseling approaches for social work will be presented that originally come from therapy. Johannes Herwig-Lempp (Merseburg University of Applied Sciences) will give an overview of the systemic approach on May 20 and 21 by presenting the basics and offering some exercises. Lütfiye Kaya Cicerali (Nisantasi University Istanbul) will give an introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on July 1 and 2, which is also practice-oriented.

Lütfiye Kaya Cicerali is an assistant professor of applied psychology at Nisantasi University in Istanbul Turkey, specialized in interindividual differences, organizational behavior and juvenile delinquency. She obtained her master degree in Psychology of Excellence at Munich Ludwig Maximilians University. She completed her PhD in forensic medicine at Istanbul University Forensic Medicine Institute. She made post doctoral work for a year at the Occupational Therapy Division of Medicine Faculty, Lunds University, Sweden. She is 45 years old, married with 7 cats. Having been a pychotherapist for 18 years she is offering Cognitive Begavioral Therapy courses and supervision at master level.
