Ablauf

Wichtige Informationen

  • Folgende Voraussetzungen gelten für die Durchführung des Praktikums:

Damit Ihr Hochschulbetreuer die Erfüllung der Voraussetzungen überprüfen kann, reichen Sie einen aktuellen Notenspiegel mit Ihrer Anfrage ein. Den Notenspiegel können Sie über das HIS als PDF runterladen.

  • Vorzeiten aus anderen Praktika, Berufsausbildungen, Werkstudententätigkeiten oder sonstigen Nebenjobs werden nicht anerkannt.
  • Ein Splitten des Pflichtpraktikums ist nur in begründeten Ausnahmefällen möglich.
  • Als Nachweis ist neben der im Laufzettel mit dem Hochschulbetreuer vereinbarten Leistung ein Praktikumszeugnis vorzulegen.3
  • Für Praktika innerhalb Deutschlands gilt: Bei dem Praktikum handelt es sich um ein Pflichtpraktikum. Dies bedeutet, dass Sie grundsätzlich keinen rechtlichen Anspruch auf eine Vergütung oder Urlaub haben. Die Vergangenheit zeigt jedoch, dass die Unternehmen auch bereit sind eine Vergütung zu zahlen und in einigen Fällen sich auch Urlaub aushandeln lässt.
    • Falls Sie BAföG-Empfänger sind, beachten Sie, dass ab einer bestimmten Verdiensthöhe dieser mit ihren BAföG-Zahlungen verrechnet wird und ggf. Geld an das BAföG-Amt zurückzahlen müssen!
  • Fragen Sie auf jeden Fall nach einem Praktikumsvertrag. Falls es während des Praktikums zu Problemen kommen sollte, können Sie oder das Unternehmen sich auf diesen berufen. Somit sind beide Seiten rechtlich abgesichert.

So that your university supervisor can check that the requirements are met, please submit a current transcript of records with your request. You can download the transcript of records as PDF via HIS.

  • Previous periods from other internships, vocational training, working student activities or other part-time jobs will not be recognised.
  • Splitting the mandatory internship is only possible in justified exceptional cases.
  • In addition to the performance agreed in the routing slip with the university supervisor, an internship certificate must be submitted as proof.3
  • The following applies to internships within Germany: The internship is a mandatory internship. This means that in principle you have no legal right to remuneration or vacation. However, the past shows that companies are also willing to pay remuneration and in some cases vacation can be negotiated.
    • If you are a BAföG recipient, please note that above a certain level of earnings, this will be offset against your BAföG payments and you may have to pay money back to the BAföG office!
  • Be sure to ask for an internship contract. If problems arise during the internship, you or the company can refer to it. This way, both sides are legally protected.
